  Miller Physical Therapy - About Our Staff

Miller Physical Therapy was founded in 1991 with
a mission statement, "To provide individualized physical
therapy with the physical therapist interacting one on one
with the client at each and every visit."

JAMES E. MILLER,
PT, DPT

Dr. Miller is a graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He received his post-professional doctorate from Northern Arizona University. He has practiced for 25+ years and has been in Scottsdale since 1983. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Arizona Physical Therapy Association and American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. he has served as district chairman and treasurer for the state chapter and six years as an Arizona Delegate to the National House of Delegate. On many occasions, he has served as a guest speaker at sponsored educational seminars. He is currently a clinical educator for doctoral interns from Northern Arizona University and A.T. Still University physical therapy programs

ERIC ULLMAN, PT,
DPT

Dr. Ullman graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences. He then went on to pursue his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida, a school with a strong orthopedic emphasis. Furthermore, he has completed all necessary courses to receive his Manual Therapy Certification. Dr. Ullman is a member of both the American and Arizona Physical Associations. He currently serves on the Federal Government Affairs Committee and is treasurer of the Arizona Physical Therapy Association Political Action Committee. On a variety of occasions, he has served as a guest lecturer on numerous topics such as "Proper Training Techniques" and "Prevention of Injury," and has volunteered for many events benefiting charities within the community including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Run and the Better than Ever Bobbi Olson Half Marathon.
